I don’t think you can chain, you can just collect dome fossils in cerulean cave but they are a rare spawn chance

You can, but think of how much quicker you would do that if you have to reset after 10 revives instead of one. And without natures getting the right ivs and that would be unbearably hard. If you wanna get some of the rarer pokes without breaking your chain it's a good idea to farm the cave for golden razz berries anyways

Kabutops does have pretty decent physical defence, and if you draw to a Pikachu you could always cuck them and swap to a ground type, I am wanting to use either Nidoking or queen hopefully

It's defense is lowish for a rock type though... I don't think it would survive a hit from a super effective zippy zappy, it would have an atk value of 300 x_x

You have always been able to, in game doesn’t really have tier restrictions

I guess it's possible I don't remember right, but I'm sure that with online play (person isn't next to you) it made you take legends out

I know some games have done almost tiers (legends allowed, no legends and not fully evolved) but I never liked those tiers, they are bad, if you organised online stuff though you should have proper tiers, but I’m also going off SuMo where every online team was Ultra Necrozmas and Primal Groudons and Mega Mewtwos
