Because they actually hate women to some extent

MGTOW is not activism, they are men, usually who have been hurt badly by a women and have decided all women are like that and they want nothing to do with them

I don't know a great deal about the sub itself. I don't disagree with the general philosophy behind MGTOW though

MGTOW was made as a direct response to extreme forms of feminism

They're free individuals. They can do as they please....as long as they don't harm other individuals.

The philosophy of mgtow is flawed in general. Humans are social creatures and complete abstinence of contact with the other gender is often bad for us and may lead to a sad mental state

It's alright to give up on women and just try and live happily without being in relationships with them

If anything they hate women just as much a radfems hate men

As I understand it they see that women fail a cost-benefit analysis when it comes to being with them. Choosing not to be with them doesn't mean they hate them, just that it's not worth the time

They are actually. All I am saying is that they should reconsider their personal choice as it isn't in coherence with the best interest for them in the long run. If they still want to go for it. Sure they should @InsaneCaterpilla

I don't think they should have to reconsider it. As long as they aren't hurting anyone they should be able to live their life that way without judgements from others. If the particular MGTOW actually hates women as a whole then at best I'd say they are misguided and at worst stupid, ignorant, and misogynistic. But deciding not to bother with women in committed relationships isn't something that I'd consider wrong.

I have seen some really poor views there. Again, not pulling out a blanket statement but that's my experience.
