keystones are on a timer and have affixes that change every week

the higher the keystone the harder the dungeon

this week has pretty bad affixes, not a fan

What's an affix?

modifiers that make it harder

so this week is Explosive and Bolstering, explosive spawns bombs that need to be destroyed or they do a chunk of damage, and bolstering makes it so every time something dies it will buff anything that is in range of it

Would that mean if a group explodes on you, it can creative a chain reaction with each one that explodes getting stronger in succession?

explosives don't cause bolstering thank fuck xD

probably, usually about 4 explosives go off and it is a wipe

next week season 2 starts, going to be interesting xD

well seasons are for an entire patch and the expansion only just launched xD

but they didn't do seasons for last xpac, so is relatively new, each season gets a new affix that is the same for all keystones +10 and over

so it is currently Infested and is switching over to reaping, which looks great, every 20% of trash, all that trash will come back to life and charge at you. 😄

Trash? Is that a way of calling mobs, or are Muks and Garbodors being introduced to the game?

trash mobs, can be skipped a lot of the time but you need to kill enough of them to fill to 100% or it wont count the dungeon as completed
