I’m not anti authority but I almost always hate mods and admins
Even on stuff I own I sometimes hate myself for being an admin or mod
I shouldn’t say hate cause I don’t hate anyone
I've pointed out direct harassment to admins... and they let it slide. No faith in them.
I guess it’s more a dislike
direct/targeted
I haven’t had issues with MRM admins, probably am a bit salty I’m a no one but eh. Whatever.
goodmod is pretty neutral. The MR sub is super lax about bans and removals...
Yep
I've never seen anyone banned from MRA subs for disagreeing, people only get banned for being actual antagonistic jerks
but I have gotten banned from quite a few subreddits by completely totalitarian mods
I got banned from /r/cryptocurrency for literally saying "now that bitcoin is crashing, maybe GPU prices will settle down" because crypto mining had doubled/tripled the price of graphics cards
Yeah screw that
Still waiting for them to settle completely
There no way to see what subs you're banned from other than the inability to post/reply?
I don't know about shadowbanning but I know if you get banned for a post generally you'll get an inbox
I am kind of shocked I'm not banned on /r/pol or /r/polhumor yet... I'm a bit of an ass in those echo chamber circle jerk subs now and then
I hear a lot of people who post in mensrights are shadowbanned from a lot of subs automatically
Idk what pol is?
politics
Just a bunch of leftards posting orange man bad stuff since Trump got in... it's rather annoying when I'm on /r/all
I don't even go on /r/all anymore
Idk what r/all is
I’m the new guy and I feel stupid
did you come here through reddit?
Yep
But my isp has reddit blocked so I have to use data, and or a different WiFi network and I just am not on it much.
/r/all is basically a page that shows the currently top voted threads from a bunch of different subreddits, even stuff you didn't subscribe to
it usually just ends up being a lot of political propaganda
Sounds about right.
In just saw a post In justice served
It was a video titled something like "rapist gets raped"
And it's a video of one guy beating another guy probably to death while saying something about his little sister
No trial. No jury. Just an accusation and a death sentence.
The comments on the original thread it was crossposted from are fucking awful
Wait, when did JS get an 18+ warning?
I have a load of sympathy for actual rape victims but even if the guy did do it a straight up public execution by beating is not okay
I can’t say I was raped but I can say I was sexually assaulted, this however is still wrong, I think we as people should want justice for victims but we do not work outside the law. This saddens me and gives me zero joy.
Maybe that was to deep, In the end I can only speak for myself and no one else, but this is wrong, if he’s a rapist, lock him up and give to him what he deserves and I can understand hate and anger but this is wrong.
It's just a bit excessive, I think it's a bit sociopathic to see someone do something wrong and think "Well, I wish them death or a great deal of pain for the rest of their life"
