And most teachers define themselves as feminists
However we managed to get most posters removed by talking with the principal
That's a good thing that not everyone has been brainwashed and you accomplished something
Whenever me or my friends mention men's rights or anything remotely right-wing people look at us like we just committed war crimes
Some guys still refuse to talk to me because I questioned the importance of modern day feminism
I tend not to equate men's rights with left or right stuff, there are lots of people from all over the political spectrum who support the MRM.
I know
I've got some tankie friends
Pretty involved in the MRM too
There's always gonna be people like that though who instead of trying to understand what something is, would rather be influenced by others than have a mind of their own and actually look objectively at things
I try to ignore such people
Idk what a tankie is ^^;
Do you know the political compass ?
A tankie is someone in the authoritarian-left square
Ah ok
sounds french (joke)
Freedom is a big deal for the French
A bit too much imo
I heard the yellow vest movment is subsiding
All they did was break stuff, hit cops, and block roads
the lack of actual political impact from them severely disappoints me
They're no better than Macron to be honest
Most of the normal people left demonstrations long ago
Now it's just a bunch of left-wing organisations and trade unions that run the protests
But they're not getting a lot of support
Along with the fact that they refuse to designate a leader and organise themselves politically
They're not gonna get a lot of EP seats if they keep going that way
I never genuinely thought of the yellow vests as their own political movement, more as a way to protest and get the current government to ease its tariffs/regulations on the working class
doesn't that qualify as a political movement
its a gathering of individuals with political goals/agendas
Mm... Possibly. I guess what I meant to say is more along the lines of being a political party, since seats on the EP was mentioned
oh yeah, definitely not a party
Despite what we hear all the time, a bunch of rebellious and disorganised dudes in the streets won't do much
If the people want things to change, they should do it in an orderly way and prove the superiority of their position.
I think this has to do with the way our society glorifies going against authority, along with the french tradition of calling strikes for anything and everything.
Well they're submitting a list of MPs
Hm. I don't think I know enough to comment any further, then
We don't hear too much about them anyway nowadays
No matter how many men you put into a street for whatever reason, the media will portray it as another Charlottesville scenario.
"Here we have a gathering of blood thirsty KKK neo-nazi mysognists that want a wall..."
Even if there are signs that say what we want. Even if everyone wants the same thing and its to end circumcision or something, we will be portrayed as white supremacist neo nazis kkk members.
