Becoming a Muslim is a very emotional time. All the religious fervour you can imagine and none of the good sense that learning about the religion gives. Kuffar learn from media that muslims kill everyone that ridicules Islam and he probably thought that it was what he was supposed to do. Not saying what he did was wrong. But I did not know a lot about Islam when I became Muslim. I knew there was one God, Muhammad was his messenger, the Quran is the word of God, angels and djinn exist and judgement day will come. Everything else was mostly media stereotypes. I was a bit afraid when I went to the masjid to convert because I thought muslims might not want a kaffir in the masjid. Had no idea, didn't know any practicing Muslim.

I decided to convert after bringing another girl home to have sex with. I always rejected them after the first night because I did not trust any women. Everyone practice adultery and I was thinking 'better I hurt them first before they hurt me'. But I was disgusted with myself. But I just think the Muslim idea made more sense. But as soon as I had thrown the girl out I tried to find a mosque. Because it was Friday and I knew Muslims prayed Friday prayer so I went early in the morning. But the mosque was closed. But I saw a woman in hijab walking with her husband and they found a masjid for me that was open and I stayed there until jummah and I said the shahada after jummah.
