Taiwan is best country there. The people are great, the nature is brilliant, the history is complex with layers from Japan, Europe and China alike, and just in general its very nice. Its kind of what you'd expect from crossing Japan with China in a way

also i didn't know Taiwan was the Urheimat of the austronesian family, pretty interesting considering it's so far part and just an itty island and China doesn't speak it
