Because I do think that both sides are incorrect on him mostly. If he came as advertised, he'd probably been good for the people somewhat. Due to economic protectionism, sacking of TPP and NAFTA (which he de facto resurrected, broken promise), getting out of wars (which he didn't) and infrastructure spending (which he also broke), he could've been fine. So its not like he was dead on arrival.
However, anyone who thinks Trump is worth anything in 2018 or, indeed, in late 2017, is a tool
