Monarchism is a failed ideology that didn't survive the 20th century.
Eh
Better to live under a bad monarch than Engage in a Revolution and Regicide
Monarchism was alright
Revolutions have hardly ever resulted in Good Things
But its no longer viable in the modern world
Monarchism *was* alright, for its time.
List me One Revolution that was good for that country..
It just overstayed its welcome.
>Better to live under a bad monarch than Engage in a Revolution and Regicide
All revolutions are not the fault of the revolutionaries.
History of man is pretty much Monarchies with Democratic Experiments at times
Every revolution is the fault of the guy in charge.
Those revolutions just didn't magically come out of nowhere
If you let the people grow so discontent with you that they want to chop your head off, it's not the fault of the people.
Is there ever a time where a Leader is universally praised?
"The People"
There are times where a leader is universally hated.
I doubt that
Nikolai II got what was coming for him for decades.
the Most Hated leader and Political Insult in our time is Adolf Hitler
Nick didn't deserve what he got, but yeah he was pretty incompetent
He was a good person, but an absolutely terrible and incompetent ruler.
And did the Revolution work out? " The People" aren't these agents without any agency..
are they?
What kind of self-fellating broad strokes armchair history discussion is this
you are welcome to set the course straight oh wise one @εïз irma εïз
"Did the Revolution work out" is another question.
no
it isn't
😂
Literally is. It happened *because* the government failed.
Tell me one time when a Revolution has been better than what was before?
USSR.
The fact that he had relatively widespread support except from social democrats and far leftists until the war completely broke apart the military due to its completely outdated and quasi-Napoleonic structure.
The French Revolution.
Which allowed the country to break up, accelerated by Rasputin which was seen as a national disgrace.
But often exaggerated.
If you think the Communist Revolution in Russia and the French Revolution made things better....
then i have nothing more to say.
@εïз irma εïз I would pinpoint Nikolai putting St. Stolypin away from power as the leading reason behind the acceleration.
