Let's say that every written test can give you from 0 (Minimum) to 1000 (Maximum) points.

And that there could be 3 types of scores:

why 1000?

You can make a ranking system more easily

The first type of score is the individual subject score (Which is obtained by making the sum of the points gained on the tests related to a subject).

The second type of score is the global academic achievement score (Which is obtained by making the sum of all the points).

The third type is the Bad Behaviour score, which you obtain if you break the rules.

With a score system you could:

-Create a ranking system with many categories and so, create incentives to get on top

-Gather more data

-Punish misbehaviour more concretely

Let's say that the minimum global score to pass is 20.000

Jimmy is a bully and has 20.500 global score points and 1.000 Bad Behaviour points

20.500 - 1.000 = 19.500

Which means that Jimmy will not pass the school year.
