@Shadowleech45 some mobos don't have many temp sensors or connectivity for external sensors. Mine literally just has a chipset temp and a "CPU" temp that's actually the mainboard temp directly under the CPU

i only look at systin cputin and package temp on hwmonitor tbh

Hwmonitor is great for stuff like checking if your overclock profiles are applying properly

is it good to check on cpu temps when gaming and just idleing or nah

@Shadowleech45 only if your mobo actually has temp sensors or the hookups for external temp sensors, it varies tremendously; CPU's often have a temp sensor built in but it's a crapshoot if your mobo will talk to it.
