PRS is a game for people with money to burn
what shooting sport isnt
So a lot of 30-40+
You can get into practical pistol shooting for not a ton of money.
But when the barrier to entry is at least $4k
I was looking into shooting PRS
I wouldnt say that for PRS
maybe $2-3K ?
You’re not gonna get into PRS for $2k
I do local action shoots
get a bergara B14 HMR 6.5CM, throw $1K worth of glass on it
done
Prs is 3k usually
plus the time to do testing and development, since the majority of PRS shooters reload
Most comp shooters reload
You'd be stupid not to load
I’m selling all my reloading gear
Rcbs?
lol
Two Dillon progressives
not enough time to reload?
It’s time, but also quality control
I have a lot of rcbs/ hornady gear
Norma brass
I’ve seen so many peoples matches end because of their reloaded ammo issues
^
I also shoot 10k+ rounds a year
#1 cause of issues
Bought all my gear during the last ammo crunch
10K total over all calibers?
That doesn’t include shotgun
But yeah
is that just matches?
It used to be more, but I’ve dialed back my schedule
Matches are less ammo intensive than practice
yea, but i wasn't sure how many matches you were hitting across multiple disciplines
