So everything is upside-down imo

2020-02-20 16:12:04 UTC

No not income tax.
Your money have no value,
all your money is a loan,
and you money is losing value every second you dont buy stuff.
If you save anything, you loose money.
You are encouraged to spend your money before it loose value

2020-02-20 16:12:08 UTC

yeh, but it makes sense why its "upside down" imo

2020-02-20 16:12:30 UTC

it loses value due to inflation right?

2020-02-20 16:12:47 UTC

no all humilating jobs are meaningless.
But they don't create these jobs because they are needed.

2020-02-20 16:14:00 UTC

yeh they do.

2020-02-20 16:14:11 UTC

@Blake4014

Yes but inflation, your income is a **promise to spend**
You are given some money and you are told to spend this much,
you are **not supposed to try to save it**

2020-02-20 16:14:16 UTC

I mean, a sewer worker, a bin man, these are needed, but considered humilating by many

2020-02-20 16:14:34 UTC

people who do save it, do end up having nicer shit.

2020-02-20 16:14:37 UTC

so Im not seeing it

2020-02-20 16:14:49 UTC

@Blake4014 Those guys are the heroes

2020-02-20 16:14:54 UTC

If society was structured correctly

2020-02-20 16:15:02 UTC

They'd be paid handsomely and people would compete to be sewer workers

2020-02-20 16:15:24 UTC

@Blake4014
thats what I said.
Look, you are thinking the wrong way.
Sewer workers are needed, toilet cleaners are needed.
But they don't create the other jobs because they are needed.

2020-02-20 16:15:28 UTC

That is, if people valued what was really necessary and essential instead of what is vapid and meaningless

2020-02-20 16:15:38 UTC

compell people to work in sewers? lol

2020-02-20 16:15:52 UTC

No

2020-02-20 16:16:02 UTC

If serving society was a socially rewarded virtue

2020-02-20 16:16:02 UTC

there are not enough work for sewer workers and toilet cleaners

2020-02-20 16:16:04 UTC

yeh I guess I am, Im not seeing what your seeing,

2020-02-20 16:16:06 UTC

You'd get people competing to do it

2020-02-20 16:16:18 UTC

Instead, now, stealing from society is socially rewarded

2020-02-20 16:16:29 UTC

That's why lawyers, bankers, entertainers, etc, are the most rewarded

2020-02-20 16:16:38 UTC

And bin men are at the bottom

2020-02-20 16:16:41 UTC

It's a total inversion

2020-02-20 16:16:42 UTC

do you have a model from history in which you consider it a good economic framework? any historic period as an example? @virtue

2020-02-20 16:17:24 UTC

You're asking too much of humanity @Hermitage we're simply too selfish and deceitful.

2020-02-20 16:17:47 UTC

Its never going to happen that we reward the lowly. more than the lofty ambitious sorts

2020-02-20 16:17:49 UTC

@Blake4014

In my opinion, the economic system is different from time period to period.

2020-02-20 16:18:03 UTC

We'll see

2020-02-20 16:18:26 UTC

@Blake4014

Pallace economy wasn't quite communist.
The economic theories of the 16th century would do today

2020-02-20 16:18:56 UTC
