if you give everyone magic items in their class equally the spellcasters dominate

a good dm gives magic items in a way to balance the party

A DM shouldn't affirmative action the melee characters into being useful

Min maxing is what you're supposed to do

I remember I was playing DnD once, I think 2nd ed. and there was a special class of barbarian, so I had 18/00 strength which gave all the DMG bonuses, and a barbarian could have this throwing skill.. so I would throw darts, which are I think 1-3 damage but with strength dmg bonus would just destroy

so ill usually makea super powerful character, but then never use his full potential

then when i need to, ill use it

The dm and I had this agreement where I'd write down where I put traps in defensive situations

so he doesn't know

combat uppdate /changes is on the way and nerf to hunger system, hopefully iy makes the game harder
