move along
quit spamming this channel please
Because people are only able to deal fairly and freely in that kinda way with groups up to a certain size. A whole country is too big. Strangers don't know each other well enough to have that kinda system IMO
@The Roman Emperor moldbug type maybe
Thats NRx
@tomhastherage That sounds more like the reason communism doesn't work on a large scale to me but you make a good point about larger societies tending towards being lower trust.
@Catboi haha wow, says the guy spamming the chat
I do have a question about the economy, I realize wages are going up, but what's to stop inflation?
Specially in the housing market?
Liberty is fake and gay.
>I'm not a libertarian guys you're strawmanning me
lol
>I'm a moldbug libertarian
Only order matters, tbh.
> Liberty is fake and gay.
no
*libertarianism is fake and gay
@Tromb2ch2 inflation is primarily the result of an increasing money supply relative to the supply of other goods and services. What do you think is causing the inflation that you're worried about stopping?
@A. Spader
Wrong.
Literally give me my Soma and an orderly society.
So that's why you drink 18 beers a nigh
t
Well in particular I'm worried about is everyone having more money then things like rent and costs of food going up because of supply and demand
I don't know what soma is but Kevin makes a good point sometimes
@Catboi
Still no order tho...
I hope I'm just being paranoid
@Tromb2ch2 i think yes. Thats why UBI is so dumb
Its just guaranteed inflation
Yeah I agree ubi does that
>I don't know what Soma is, but trust me guys I'm well read and educated
>I know what I'm talking about
But does a booming economy do that as well?
>Have you guys read any Atlas Shrugged? I'ts great
@Catboi
Only took me 5 months to read that book too.
@Tromb2ch2 If supplies are limited, even for important goods like housing and food, raising prices are the surest way to leverage human greed to increase the supply and curb it from unnecessary consumption. Scarcity is always painful but I wouldn't use the term 'inflation' to describe a price increase localized to only part of an economy.
@Unironic Ohio Supremecist you misunderstand Liberty, or at least what I mean by it
>You should tune into Molyneux next tsream it'll be great
@A. Spader he believes in Liberty but only for white people, so only for white men.
I guess inflation is the wrong term
