it depends on what you want to do. vr, 1440p gaming, 1080p gaming, etc
competitive, casual, enthusiast., sims
yeah the system i have coming, the parts for it i still need anyway, i should be able to game any AAA title in 1440 well north of 60fps
steam is worth it
and ive got a 4k 144hz monitor coming
check out humblebundle.com as well
for good deals
yeah ive got signed up there and on steamtrades as well
youre not gonna get 144fps on that 4k monitor
i'll tell you right now
oh, obviously
youre lucky if you get 60fs with a 2080ti
@gimp-in-a-diaper man does cloud gaming . You not a real chad
and an 9700k
i wasnt expecting to, i bought it mostly for the future proofing
at a premium price
1440p rn is the way to go
same reason why i'm using a ryzen, well that and the fact that for my general uses with multi-tasking and shit it is a better option for me
also cheaper
4k is great for work station stuff tho
ryzen for gaming? nah
yeah, i was going to get one of those ridiculous monitors that seem to be in vogue now, those 39 inch ultra wide 21:10 ones
Yeah, need the color correct syntax highlighting
multitasking sure, gaming nah
how can you do any work without color correct displays
idk what kind of work he does.
yeah i know intel is still better for gaming im saying i am better suited with ryzen
If you don't have calibration equipment it doesn't matter what it says regardless
but photoshop, illustration stuff its key
Intel is barely better anymore
the monitor i ordered covers 100% of SRGB
it's not even 5% on most games
yea it is lol
havent got it yet, so i'll see when i get it
no it's not
lol yes it is
lol no it's not
it really isnt it depends on the chip. yeah the latest gen 7 i7 9700 and 9900
will still eke out even a ryzen 9 3900x
or 3950
