i agree
obama aint black
and that's part of why 2012 turnout was lower
obama is irish
Barry O'bama
so far, turnout has been higher in some regards than in 2008
Barini Obuomo
bernie doesnt pull in any moderates and pushes away basic bitch democrats
There arent a lot of moderates anymore tho are there
tru
boomer dems, sans the hippies, are as conditioned to hating socialism as the republicans are
that's not reallllly true
the same %s of that generation are comparable to feelings about it with current gens
i guarantee dems would call bernie vs trump a election of 2 russian plants
maybe not the word itself, "socialism", but the policies themselves
they already did
Establishment Dems are just corporatists
Looking at the caucus votes and etc it's pretty obvious the moderates are a majority over the bernie supporters
If trump moved more moderate on the economy he could probably beat bernie fairly easily
but the difference is, moderates are not going to massively go and vote for Trump
moderate dems are a very weak base of support for trump
i guess they may stay home
but i don't think the numbers show that so far
that's as good as half a vote
again it depends how trump runs
lol
i can envision trump running in ways that capitalised on disenfranchised radicals
idk if it would be likely or not
he's already adopting some leftist talking strategies
since his corporate donors are still behind him
that's why populism is important though, it can defeat donors
and corporations
that is how trump won 2016
not in america
Hillary raised way more money than Trump did in 2016
like wayyyyy more
Trump had populist rhetoric though
Trump won the republican candidate race on the merit that he just called ppl out for being shills
i can imagine if he still has his debate energy he could do the same thing
and bernie is doing something similarly on the Dem side
