Discord isn't my life. I only come here to express my views regarding political topics. Unfortunately, politics is an ugly mental sport. There is hardly ever anything positive to discuss when engaging in politics.

I welcome discussions with people with opposing perspectives in hopes that I can mature intellectually.

I don't think you're completely wrong in that political conversations and definitely get dark and dry. I've been doing this for over 3 years and a very used to a lot the concepts that I see you guys talking about in here. It again on the person that even when I was starting up the Donald with another group of moderators over at Reddit recognized the harsh realities of the implications of the things that we are talking about but at the same time it is very important not to become so callous that everything you think or say is the end-all-be-all of every argument I would even say to you that to take ourselves too seriously as people of like mind lends itself to the perception of pseudo intellectualism that is fostered by the left
