Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever.

Lord, I thank you for this day of blessing, this day of rest. and of reflection. Help us to take the time to meditate on your goodness, your glory. I thank you for your peace and joy that overshadows us. I thank you that you have covered us with your banner of love and called each of us by name. I thank you for your truth, the little signs you give us so we know you are with each of us , guiding us, revealing the next step to take on your path. I don't have to know the whole path as long as you light our way, I trust in you. Thank you for letting us know that we are making a difference in our communities., for sharing that joy of discovery with us. Fill our hearts with your love, your joy, your strength, your peace. Thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus, who has shown us the way to you. Thank you Holy Spirit for your wisdom, your discernment. I rest in your presence and your protecion.

@General Peaches really down today and reading your post brought tears of joy to my eyes. Who could have thought such abhorrent evil could be a blessing to open ones eyes to God. Welcome, my friend. ❤️
@Maga gal, well I’m truly humbled and thankful that my story moved you. And I agree about the irony of it taking me to believe that Satan is indeed real and worshipped by the powerful to make me believe in and love Jesus and our Father in Heaven with all my heart and soul. I’ve been praying every day now. It’s kind of funny because I’ve been worried that I’m not doing it right, so Ive been reading up on how to pray the right way. I’m still in prayer 101 and have a lot to learn. But most important, my intentions are pure and I ask God every day to help me cleanse my soul and to be the best person I can be. The person He intended me to be.
And of course I ask God to help all those in sadness and despair and to save our children and all the victims of this wickedness.
Prayers just need to come from your heart. I used to think I wasn’t doing it right too. God knows your heart. And I am so happy your heart is opened! It is kind of ironic, to believe when seeing so much evil, but it makes sense too. Bless you!! 🙏🏻❤️
I used to be sort of selfish I guess with my prayers. The past few months I have widened my prayers Worldwide with all I know is going on. It’s hard because in a class of mine they ask for any prayer requests at beginning of class (I go to a Christian college) and I want to say so much, but don’t think I can.
@General Peaches @Maga gal is right. Just from your heart. You're talking to your best friend who knows you better than you do so you can't mess up. I forget names but He knows all names. I have a fear when I pray but it is a good kind and I have been a believer in Jesus since 1988. Actually I have learned to talk to Him all thru the day when I am not talking to others. One day at a time.
