Granted, but you pick one, and become an asset to your community.
softice, the only way to eliminate monopolies is to eliminate all government
the thing is, without government/rigged money (fiat) we would have 99% of poverty gone
and that means 90% of crime
@Melrose Pug what if that community was simply the entire world?
we would live in a very different world
why not revolutionize the education system?
can someone pass this over the live chat people - https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/02/the-gun-control-debate-could-break-america/
softice, people are inherently greedy and selfish. Capitalism USES that inherent greed/selfishness and converts it to altruism by earning money by bringing value to others in voluntary winwin transactions
@Dustin Nemos then what? a new govt?
this is why it is the most moral system
history all over again
government is an obstacle, it has no legitimate purpose.
everything it does, can be done better by private market
Seems like smaller would be better for most things
without violence
check out mr. dapperton, stefan molyneux, or other anarcho-capitalists who are more articulate than I at this issue
Violence would never be completely eliminated, would it
@Melrose Pug you know what machine learning is all about?
what is it?
A.I.
well at least a step closer to ai
Hmm
you want to know how it works?
The masses want and defer to a "leader" to make their decisions for them
A.I. can become something we can't control, maybe controlling us
it will give you a much better idea of how things should work
and the idea of this OP
Agreed Melrose Pug
when I hear about A.I. it is not good
Dustin, followed you to Dtube, will watch you there
SoftIce yes, tell me about it
@Melrose Pug no, not completely. but when you have no monopoly on violence, everyone will have self defense as a priority and you'll have competing (thus better) privatized security
a police officer who turns a blind eye or rapes or is corrupt or beats up an innocent person would not get a paid vacation in a private security firm
where people are voting with their dollars.
@Melrose Pug it goes like this:
you give a computer program 1 task to SOLVE.
that computer then analyzes that problem using a few thousand nodes or 'workers'
each worker tries to solve that task in its own way, in many different approaches.
once one worker or more solves it, it spits out the solution to the main program that displays it on the computer screen.
thats in extremely short overview of how it works. bottom line is that it solves it crazy fast.
now think about us, and the problem we are in.
what if we were to unite in solvimg this problem without violence?
