Well, thank you anyway. I have to check out now .

2018-02-23 07:37:50 UTC

2018-02-23 07:37:54 UTC

I agree ... But what are the odds of that happeneing?

2018-02-23 07:38:48 UTC

Actually, out here - pretty darn good odds! Lol

2018-02-23 07:38:51 UTC

some of the differences could be camera angle, some could be lighting, some could be editing.... so many variables.

2018-02-23 07:38:53 UTC

i basically don't need to make dead drops, my family and friends just show up when they want something

2018-02-23 07:39:33 UTC

they've been doing it for at least 20yrs...

2018-02-23 07:40:16 UTC

lol

2018-02-23 07:41:21 UTC

dead drops though. very useful imo.

2018-02-23 07:41:26 UTC

first with vhs tapes, then eventually floppies, then cdr's then dvd-r's then hdds and or usb sticks

2018-02-23 07:42:52 UTC

i used to make my own high quality copies of movies via a signal amp and a digitial video stablizer(strips the copy protection)

2018-02-23 07:43:32 UTC

i only did 1-1 copies, never mass produced it.

2018-02-23 07:44:14 UTC

tho i did salvage some stuff from places that got raided for bootlegging. mostly their shelving stuff and some cabling

2018-02-23 07:44:42 UTC

they did not have digital stabilizers nor signal amps

2018-02-23 07:45:02 UTC

idiots

2018-02-23 07:45:11 UTC

lol finding a vhs tape layin around is the most creepiest thing imo. almost no one owns a vcr. that would make me crazy curious about the contents

2018-02-23 07:45:43 UTC

find a pcm encoder off craigslist or ebay. one that takes vhs tapes

2018-02-23 07:45:52 UTC

titled "Q"

2018-02-23 07:46:21 UTC

my folks have a vcr/dvd hybrid shit still kicking!

2018-02-23 07:46:52 UTC

pcm encoder converts information to pcm, in theory u could 'record' backups at 12tb per 120min vhs tape

2018-02-23 07:48:14 UTC

im tellin you there are hybrid vcrdvds monsters out there. you can rip tapes right off onto a dvd.. l33t pro hx0r

2018-02-23 07:48:15 UTC

but u have to keep the tapes in a cool dry enviroment for long term storage

2018-02-23 07:48:30 UTC

yeah thats true

2018-02-23 07:49:00 UTC

dank basement won't cut it

2018-02-23 07:49:27 UTC

naaaah it will

2018-02-23 07:49:37 UTC

65-75f temp range is fine

2018-02-23 07:50:36 UTC

it could last for decades in normal room temp, in a box. yeah around 65f

2018-02-23 07:51:27 UTC

air tight safe with silcone gel packs u get from shipped electronics, just reactivate the gel packs by cooking them in oven for about 5-10mins at 300-500f

2018-02-23 07:52:07 UTC

it will suck the moisture out of the air in the safe for long term storage

2018-02-23 07:52:45 UTC

about 10-20% of safe volume is enough for gel pack usage

2018-02-23 07:55:39 UTC

or u could toss data storage in a double-zipped ziplock with the silcone gel packs, then store them in the safe

2018-02-23 07:56:30 UTC

after u label each ziplock so u can randomly access whatever u have in the safe and not effect the stored data

2018-02-23 07:56:54 UTC

niiiiiice

2018-02-23 07:57:46 UTC

whats your approach on hdds and EMF

2018-02-23 07:58:01 UTC

you build cages?

2018-02-23 07:58:15 UTC

alluninum hard case

2018-02-23 07:58:26 UTC

gotcha

2018-02-23 07:58:51 UTC

kinda like those vhs plastic cases but made of alluninum

2018-02-23 08:00:08 UTC

i saw something sick that im gonna try out cant recall the name. its a cage basically that blocks EMFs

2018-02-23 08:00:14 UTC

i used to have a mini case for my debit card when ever i went shopping
