yes

2018-02-25 18:58:24 UTC

any laws can be a downfall to cryptos, it's the perception of the validity of those laws that matters

2018-02-25 18:58:37 UTC

and if u can enforce them

2018-02-25 18:58:47 UTC

think of piracy of video content in the 90s

2018-02-25 18:58:55 UTC

sure...it was illegal

2018-02-25 18:58:57 UTC

it just got pushed underground

2018-02-25 18:58:57 UTC

but so what

2018-02-25 18:59:02 UTC

I personally think the downfall of crypto would come from microchipping.

2018-02-25 18:59:12 UTC

so how are cryptocurrencies going to be served by being relegated to an underground currency?

2018-02-25 18:59:27 UTC

Otherwise, it's like any other tool. (guns)

2018-02-25 19:00:21 UTC

For microchipping to work they have to convince you of the security it provides, but a catalyst scenario will likely have to happen at a mass scale to justify it to the masses

2018-02-25 19:00:29 UTC

if amazon would start taking BTC directly, or any of the various cryptos currently available, it would make checking out of the system a snap

2018-02-25 19:00:29 UTC

Yea

2018-02-25 19:00:36 UTC

Convenience alone wont do

2018-02-25 19:00:45 UTC

oh you mean like a new Pearl Harbor?

2018-02-25 19:00:51 UTC

the anonymity of asymmetric keys, distribution of ledger eliminating the needs for central authorities, and the construction of chronology of transfer verified by computational competition

2018-02-25 19:00:52 UTC

or in this case a new 9/11?

2018-02-25 19:00:53 UTC

yes

2018-02-25 19:01:07 UTC

people are very reactionary

2018-02-25 19:01:21 UTC

here's the thing, i have a practical model for changing society

2018-02-25 19:01:27 UTC

and trustful 😦

2018-02-25 19:01:30 UTC

it's easier than you think

2018-02-25 19:01:30 UTC

lets hear it

2018-02-25 19:01:40 UTC

you simply check out

2018-02-25 19:01:46 UTC

no bank accounts, no credit cards

2018-02-25 19:01:49 UTC

work for yourself

2018-02-25 19:01:56 UTC

yeah it's hard, but i did it

2018-02-25 19:02:00 UTC

lol, true

2018-02-25 19:02:17 UTC

@chumba same

2018-02-25 19:02:20 UTC

sort of fumbled my way into it, but i ended up where i wanted to be, although not in the luxurious confines of a swank home

2018-02-25 19:02:38 UTC

i pay no income taxes, i pay for nothing i can't get away with

2018-02-25 19:03:07 UTC

my only one guilty admission is i have a verified walmart money card, which means i registered it with a social security number

2018-02-25 19:03:19 UTC

i see potential in organizational efforts of a tangent economy

2018-02-25 19:03:29 UTC

i didnt 3 years ago

2018-02-25 19:03:39 UTC

but other than that, i use paypal for payment from indirect transactions, transfer that to my walmart moneycard, and withdraw to cash

2018-02-25 19:03:46 UTC

New Cryptos thru corps backing are being pushed by Financial gurus: Ie Jim Rikards. When you become a trusted authority, majority will follow. We follow Q because he has become one to us.

2018-02-25 19:04:01 UTC

if cryptos would be accepted like paypal today is accepted, a "breakaway" society could be achieved

2018-02-25 19:04:27 UTC

my primary rule of navigating american society is to NEVER VOLUNTEER MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

2018-02-25 19:04:33 UTC

paypal will suffer a bit once Ebay cut their ties with them (not relevant to discussion)

2018-02-25 19:04:44 UTC

the thing is, there is already a breakaway society....but it is reserved for the elite and powerful.

2018-02-25 19:04:53 UTC

by doing so i do not contract with my federal person, i do not take benefits from the government
