the omnibus bill is a proposal on how to spend 1.3 trillion dollars with a blank check

bills in congress are proposals, nothing more,

it's not an official budget

it's not a law

it's not an admendmant

its a list of suggestions to spend 1.3-1.5 trillion bucks

admendmants get added to bill of rights or constitution upon approval

and becomes law

official budgets, not budget bills. get followed to the letter by the president on goverment spending for specific period of time

omnibus is a porkified 2200 page bill that nobody in congress read, nor those in senate. except for those that wrote it originally. and trump was monitoring this the whole time

in his speech he said 'nobody read it'

if u were watching him, u'd noticed he gave that look of somebody thinking congress and senate that voted for this but not written the bill and did not read it the look of 'these are stupid ppl, they'll sign anything'

few months back, he got all buddy-buddy with the dems and had the gop confused

he was playing them. he kept telling them to put it in a bill and he'll sign it

a bill is not law, a bill is not set in stone and carried down from the mountain by moses

so before the dems can finally realize what happened. trump can finally get senate to over turn the filibuster ruling

unless theres a dem in here trying to understand this to explain it to them
