My girls and I are moving into our own place after a year of homeless...on may 1st. We're barely able to afford it, and I've watched them give money to soo many others less ok than us. It Humbles me.
I am old and hav fought this fight sense I was a child .. sickened by people watching young men die in Vietnam on the news while eating dinner.. I started wearing peace beads then .. and still do .. this is the first time I smell a hint of permanent change in the air .. one can hope and dream 🐬
It's exciting, and scarey! But by the grace of the powers that be, we're ok, and we do our best to help those less ok than our selfs. My girls living by it... pride isn't the word.

I can tell u from experience that hard times r great for the soul and teach young people invaluable lessons.. my son is such a amazing person because of what we’ve gone through
