@Relic 1776 It’s hard. It’s been almost a year and now I’m ready for another dog. Partly for me and partly for my husband’s dog - to give her a playmate. She now goes over to neighbor dog and they try to exchange toys thru fence! It’s hard but it’s so worth it

@Relic 1776 that is the hardest moment of all. Snuggles stomach twisted at the end (like what happened to Marley in Marley in me). She was old. Arthritis. Going deaf. Knew it was coming. Didn’t expect it to be like that though. Had to rush her to emergency vet and say goodbye quickly. Not how I wanted her to go
