And

2019-01-09 17:33:47 UTC

For example

2019-01-09 17:34:20 UTC

If mother Theresa believed that god was multiple persons in the trinity

2019-01-09 17:34:31 UTC

She would still be sainted

2019-01-09 17:34:41 UTC

Even though she shouldn’t be

2019-01-09 17:37:04 UTC

do protestants go to hell

2019-01-09 17:37:13 UTC

The Canonization of Mother Theresa is not infallible, because she was canonized by an Anti-Pope.

2019-01-09 17:37:50 UTC

Yes

2019-01-09 17:38:02 UTC

Every non-Catholic goes to hell

2019-01-09 17:38:10 UTC

It's dogma

2019-01-09 17:38:27 UTC

Outside the Church there is no salvation

2019-01-09 17:38:47 UTC

You can take any saint who was canonised for work in treating people

2019-01-09 17:39:05 UTC

And if they had heretic beliefs

2019-01-09 17:39:12 UTC

They would still be canonised

2019-01-09 17:40:55 UTC

No, the canonization in the Catholic church is a complicated process.
It much more complicated to become a Saint in the Catholic church compared to Orthodoxy

2019-01-09 17:43:11 UTC

To become a Saint in the Catholic church, you have to:
1. hold the Catholic faith.
2.Live an exemplary and pious life.
3. And perform miracles (but this is somewhat optional)

2019-01-09 17:45:14 UTC

1. Hold the Catholic faith
2. Be Water baptized

2019-01-09 17:46:59 UTC

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches **that all those who are outside the Catholic Church**, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia productive of eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.

“**And if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost**, in whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.”
2 Corinthians 4:3:
