Does the video have sources
Oof
Look
Basically st Paul said completely different stuff as is practiced in Catholicism when we are talking about original sin
Ok, can you give me the arguments he makes?
Hold on busy
https://orthodoxwiki.org/Original_sin orthodoxy believes in ancestral sin
That our ancestors provide a devilish desire to sin and the only way to cleanse this is through baptism
Ok, Catholics believe that Original sin is a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our descent from Adam.
Every human was born with the Original sin (except the Virgin Mary).
Original sin is similar to mortal sin. Anyone who dies in the state of mortal sin goes to hell. The only way to cleanse Original sin, is through baptism.
I mean, make an argument.
I am not really familiar with the Orthodox view on it.
@Deleted User
Well in orthodoxy no one is safe from the consequences of Adams’s actions but rather we are all suffering from his actions, the way god views us has been tarnished by sin and to remove this thick tarnish we must be baptised
Ok, so you believe that every human is born with Original sin, right?
Isn't that what all Christians believe
Yes
@Deleted User Nah
The prots
Well, all real Christians
Mormons don't count
A lot of prots don't believe in it
As a Lutheran
Lutherans at least have some theology...
I am talking about people like Baptists, Evangelicals etc.
Lutherans are considered Evangelical
Some of them
The church I was baptized in is
Nah, I mean like Evangelical denominations like in America
"Israel is our greatest ally" types
Yeah
Many Lutherans admittedly do believe that
In America
The main two Lutheran Church types in the US are ELCA and LCMS
ELCA is Evangelical Lutheran Church of America
LCMS is Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
Ah, I see...well Lutherans are at least a bit more "traditional" when it comes to theology.
ELCA tends to be more liberal as I see
I think Martin Nigger Kang is considered a Saint in ELCA
I think so too
lol
I have seen a Luther liturgical calendar
I'm not referring to Martin Luther
