yeah, its tricky, we all want our closest to be the ones we can talk to.. but it just wont happen, everyone has their level of tolerance and ability to manage so much information objectively

Just stay true to yourself, if something is bothering you, say something along the lines of "oh just something i read thats really astonishing, really making me think" and then dont embellish. create interest triggers.

The last thing your loved ones want is to see you suffering, so stay positive, stay in the plan and have hope for better... if your down in the dumps all the time they're just going to worry about you and assume what your ingesting is detrimental... therefor they should also avoid knowledge of it.
