Okay. I’m just sharing what I feel to be the situation behind them. If they are wearing a monitor it is for a long stretch of time. Any chance that the pant leg to cover it up might fail would immediately show what could be going on behind the scenes, hence the use of the boot which would be fail proof to hide the monitor and an injury would validate the length of time wearing the boot to cover it up.

@LukeAG Respect your point of view, but from experience it won't hold. Those ankle monitors are designed to be lock strapped to a persons body with the no possibility of removal except when time is up. You must shower/bathe around them. They are designed to be worn beneath pants legs.

Relic, not sure what you’re missing in my point. The boot is to hide that they are under investigation and have been kept from leaving the country because of said investigation. That is what they cannot allow to be noticed by general public
