700 mbps (the slowest recorded 5G internet speed mind you that I've seen) is faster than internet in most places in America unless you have the most expensive package

and even then a lot of places in america dont even have those speeds available as an option

I recently got a new router from att and my speeds went from like 8 mbps to 40 mbps and that was really nice

700 mbps would mean that downloading games like doom4 would be relatively trivial

9.6 minutes rather than 14 hours

5G can provide more than 1gps AND the fact that mobile having the same speeds or faster than broadband that you get at home is impressive

Im not certain that 5g wifi, and 5g cell towers are nearly the same thing.

and im sure they arnt.

but fyi you don't get a choice with what type of wifi router you get.

all modern routers provided by your ISP shoot 5g, and 2g out, at the same time.

2g is considered mostly for appliances now, which is why their routers continue to support it.

5g is what is based around media and pc.
