10/10 would literally beat you to death with a shoe for G43.

2019-01-09 03:45:40 UTC

Ditto

2019-01-09 03:46:13 UTC

They might beat themselves to death and eat expensive ammo

2019-01-09 03:46:18 UTC

But hooo boy

2019-01-09 03:46:39 UTC

Muh selbstladengewehr

2019-01-09 17:18:33 UTC

Fun fact, the G43 was purpose built for the cold. In cold weather the fixed gas port makes it operate flawlessly, but all you have to do in temperate or hot weather is change the bolt spring.

2019-01-09 17:19:09 UTC

Another fun fact, the G43 uses a *carbon copy* of the SVT's adjustable gas port.

2019-01-09 17:19:39 UTC

So you can literally replace it with a repro SVT adjustabl gas port and it's a perfectly functional all-weather rifle.

2019-01-09 17:41:51 UTC

And it won’t snap beat itself to death then?

2019-01-09 17:45:02 UTC

Nope, just remember to change the bolt spring or adjust the gas regulator.

2019-01-09 17:45:10 UTC

Y'know, basic considerations

2019-01-09 17:45:19 UTC

The G43 is plagued by bullshit myths

2019-01-09 18:14:19 UTC

What about that thing about Jews supposedly being forced to make rifles for the Wehrmacht? Personally, I wouldn't think letting prisoners who hate you and your system make weapons for your army to be smart, but that's the claim frequently made about the G-41 and G-43.

2019-01-09 18:17:35 UTC

Just check the armament code.

2019-01-09 18:17:38 UTC

ezpz

2019-01-09 18:18:13 UTC

Most if not all G41(w)'s and G43's were made in Walther factories.

2019-01-09 18:18:38 UTC

If you havea G41(m) it's a neat show piece but unlike the Walther models it's not going to function well.

2019-01-09 18:19:39 UTC

Speaking of Walther firearms, what's the deal with the PPK? Is a Bersa Thunder more cost-effective?

2019-01-09 18:20:02 UTC

Or do you get what you pay for with the Thunder?

2019-01-09 18:20:54 UTC

It's argentinian, so... yeah.

2019-01-09 21:06:33 UTC

It's not a bad gun at all.

2019-01-09 21:06:56 UTC

The bersa does the same shit cheaper and has a few autismo features the walther doesnt

2019-01-09 21:07:17 UTC

Argentine guns are miles better than >Brazil

2019-01-09 21:07:27 UTC

They’re Spanish quality levels

2019-01-09 21:07:31 UTC

@Reichtangle Tell that to my Imbel lmao

2019-01-09 21:07:37 UTC

Cheap but functional

2019-01-09 21:07:42 UTC

Valid

2019-01-09 21:07:59 UTC

I’ve heard good things about the thunder from poorfag leaves

2019-01-09 21:08:10 UTC

And the FAMAE sig clone sells well here too

2019-01-09 21:08:13 UTC

She's beat to all hell but goddammit she just won't stop running.

2019-01-09 21:08:26 UTC

Although sales don’t mean good, mind

2019-01-09 21:08:27 UTC

The Bersa is good. My dad carries one.

2019-01-09 21:08:39 UTC

Bersa is fine

2019-01-09 21:08:42 UTC

I've shot it, it's plenty accurate.

2019-01-09 21:08:55 UTC

Get the combat model. Holds 15 vs 7

2019-01-09 21:09:10 UTC

Double stack and all. Just less compact.

2019-01-09 21:12:21 UTC

Neat

2019-01-09 21:12:37 UTC

My first handgun will still probably be a surplus P1 or 92

2019-01-09 21:21:47 UTC

Everyone I know that I told about me getting a ppk said go for the thunder

2019-01-09 21:33:17 UTC
