Furry is still degenerate, though

2018-09-01 17:31:37 UTC

@blyat Nigga so used to drawing high detail he told me in the beginning that doing patch art "was like drawing a stamp"

2018-09-01 17:32:10 UTC

2018-09-01 20:37:13 UTC

2018-09-01 20:38:32 UTC

wacom eeeeehhh...cant remember model

2018-09-01 20:38:34 UTC

1 mike

2018-09-01 20:39:31 UTC

The basic one?

2018-09-01 20:39:37 UTC

I started with that one

2018-09-01 20:39:40 UTC

wacom intuos P S

2018-09-01 20:39:54 UTC

Oh, that's better than what I started with

2018-09-01 20:39:59 UTC

planin got get one with screen when i can

2018-09-01 20:40:16 UTC

That's what I have now, I got a 2nd hand Artisul D13

2018-09-01 20:41:35 UTC

worth getting?

2018-09-01 20:53:22 UTC

Does a screen make it easier? Thinking of getting something with a screen just because I don't want to carry around a tablet and laptop constantly

2018-09-01 20:57:07 UTC

I have a cintiq that I cant use right now because my laptop is a brick. The screen makes it MUCH easier, but not quite as simple as pen and paper. The price tag also is crazy high, so id only invest in one if you're crazy serious about art.

2018-09-01 21:00:06 UTC

well obv

2018-09-01 21:01:11 UTC

I love mine though. Between the shortcut keys, the eraser, and the screen, it made my workflow 10x easier

2018-09-01 21:01:30 UTC

I dont even use the keyboard anymore except for one or two commands

2018-09-01 21:02:15 UTC

Its wired, so I cant go far, but I can just lounge in bed and make digital sketchs which is really nice.

2018-09-01 21:03:30 UTC

The only issue I have with mine is that the thin layer of glass makes for a very small disconnect between what you see and what you draw, that holds it back from being on the same level of trad

2018-09-01 21:03:43 UTC

I see- do you have wireless capability though? I run an Intuos Pro M and it has Bluetooth connectability

2018-09-01 21:04:05 UTC

The 13hd I got doesn't, but there are cintiqs that do for a bigger pricetag.

2018-09-01 21:04:36 UTC

I heard really good things about the cintiq companion 2 if you want to consoledate into a single device

2018-09-01 21:04:57 UTC

its a cintiq with its own battery and hardware, so its completely portable.

2018-09-01 21:05:41 UTC

Hmm, interesting

2018-09-01 21:06:15 UTC

Well, I'm definitely not good enough to make use of such a thing, but I'll thank you for the info and keep it in mind.

2018-09-01 21:08:09 UTC

Your skills will carry over from both using an intuos and doing trad work, so its a nice investment with no need to rush into it. The learning curve is non existant if you already know how to use digital tools.

2018-09-01 21:08:46 UTC

I reccomend waiting a year or two while you save up money comfortably and hone your skills in the meantime. Its a great goal to aim for.

2018-09-01 21:09:11 UTC

@FUGUBARAKUN How much do furries pay? lol

2018-09-01 21:09:41 UTC

Isn't their payment not for your art, but for your moral standing?

2018-09-01 21:11:07 UTC

It's kind of like hiring a hitman. You're not paying a lot because killing a man is hard, your paying a lot because not many people will kill a man
