You can plot waypoints and set your ship for certain turning speeds

But WT has better damage mechanics

Gun boats and PT boats are fun to play

I never use auto pilot in wows

Its useful for skirmish lines

If you need to keep defending a point so you can set your waypoints to zigzag around a cap zone

It's possible, but in the heat of combat you're more likely to do more damage to yourself than the enemy
