it does look like the guns are attached right at the shoulder instead of having another piece in between
no I guess not
huh
Lmao, the old ones were the fags that turned the warp into a hellscape by weaponizing it.
and the only reason they had to do that was you
I assume they're on solid platforms over the shoulder so the flak cannons dont tilt or wobble if the titan needs to rotate its arms on the Z or Y axies @Nic386
It's because the arms look like they're just hanging off the underside of the AA platforms instead of their own shoulder joint
Yeah nah it's just coz you cant see it
Which would actually look rad as fuck with a beefier structure
That kind of design has too many limits tbh
shouldnt they have done something more like this?
Drastically reduces the load they can bear and their mobility and degrees of elevation
Ew
and yes I know that was a knight but still
But no
just a large gun with a couple support weaons, not a warlord with a giant gun
Its not even a warlord
the legs are the same
It's a new class
its essentially the same hull
Arguably
I know its a new class but its based on the same chassis as the Warlord
I mean the Honda accord and the Honda civic used to be the same chassis but not the same car
the warlord chassis doesnt look very good with a single gun sticking out of the middle
Er no, that's far more like the Reaver's legs
With how this first iteration currently is, I am fairly certain this a command platform instead of a combat platform like the warlords are
So the design is going to be different and allow for different things
The Warlord's are digitigrade
thats fair
but istn it the same size as the warlord?
I think its bigger mass wise
Regarding the shoulders, underslung hard mounts would be able to support far more weight
Wait reaver or this new one?
I mean more as in hight
Oh well without the gun then most likely yes
A traditional shoulder puts the weight load perpendicular to the axis of motion, which is bad
But gives a higher range of movement
Yes
And that's the point of these guns. High range of movement for "Oh fuck" moments
