Also le Columbine meme

More opinion time.

2018-09-03 00:02:20 UTC

Full quadrails are heavy and useless, and the M5 is shit.

2018-09-03 00:02:43 UTC

PEQ attached to the barrel won't lose zero

2018-09-03 00:03:51 UTC

What actually gets attached to the weapon you may ask? While my experience is not all encompassing, what I was trained on included an M4A4, a red dot sight, a PEQ, and an IR monacle.

2018-09-03 00:04:46 UTC

The other panels on the quadrail were useless and instead of adding unused cheesegrater and rail covers, we could just the the standard handguard

2018-09-03 00:05:30 UTC

If the only thing im putting on the weapon outside the receiver rail is a PEQ that doesn't even need a rail, why add more than a pound to the end of the weapon?

2018-09-03 00:25:47 UTC

Ok Eric Harris

2018-09-03 00:26:19 UTC

Tbh Eric and Dylan chose some goofy ass weapons for NBK

2018-09-03 00:27:31 UTC

They got whatever they could get their hands on

2018-09-03 00:28:01 UTC

>gun store employee made that joke earlier and we had the giggles for like 10m

2018-09-03 00:28:50 UTC

We had the OG and new available so he confirmed that the OG probably won't fit the High Tower

2018-09-03 00:30:23 UTC

Dylan specifically wanted a Tec 9 because he thought it was cool

2018-09-03 00:31:39 UTC

Probably because it looks different

2018-09-03 00:31:45 UTC

And it's cheap

2018-09-03 00:32:00 UTC

All I can think of is the retro bus seat camo one

@Doomfan98 related to that picture from earlier: That’s Joachim Peiper - given that there is a combat clasp (in bronze) and tank destruction badge, as well as a knights cross with oak leaves, that puts that particular picture as being taken sometime between January 27, 1944 and January 11, 1945

2018-09-03 00:48:39 UTC

I knew he looked familiar

2018-09-03 00:49:02 UTC

Thanks for the info, I was stumped on the medals and such

2018-09-03 00:49:40 UTC

No problem, I enjoy digging up that kind of stuff

2018-09-03 00:49:59 UTC

Though, can’t really do that with the enlisted people most of the time

2018-09-03 00:50:23 UTC

Lucky that he was the equivalent to a major

2018-09-03 00:52:17 UTC

German stuff has always fascinated me, I'm currently learning all the ranks rn (or trying to)

2018-09-03 00:53:31 UTC

There’s too many ranks for Germany overall, since each branch had their own completely unique ranks

2018-09-03 00:56:47 UTC

Yeah that's very true, I'm focusing on SS ranks rn. So Joachim was a SturmbannfĂĽhrer yeah?

2018-09-03 00:59:09 UTC

I used to have a chart saved with the SS ranks

2018-09-03 01:01:01 UTC

I find it regrettable that I cannot dig it up for you

2018-09-03 01:01:03 UTC

Peiper lead a Kampfgruppe IIRC

2018-09-03 01:01:54 UTC

God I wish that were me

2018-09-03 01:04:57 UTC

Wait, when was he promoted to StandartenfĂĽhrer?

2018-09-03 01:05:00 UTC

At the time of that picture, yes, he was a SturmbannfĂĽhrer

2018-09-03 01:05:20 UTC

Probably shortly after receiving the Swords on his Knights Cross

2018-09-03 01:06:47 UTC

That's pretty cool

2018-09-03 01:08:16 UTC

I mean
My grandfather had oak leaves, swords and diamonds on his :^)

2018-09-03 01:18:26 UTC

Who did he serve with?
