The left side is OG plastic

2018-09-27 23:25:55 UTC

I'll be swapping it with bakelites real soon tbh

2018-09-27 23:44:18 UTC

So, what would the best multi purpose (rifle and pistol tho just rifle is fine) brass catcher be in you guy's opinion?

2018-09-27 23:44:54 UTC

And for depriving, should I get a hand deprimer or go ahead and get a single stage press that can be used for other reloading steps?

2018-09-27 23:51:12 UTC

Just tape a heavy-cloth bag to the ejection area

2018-09-28 01:16:50 UTC

On a pistol?

2018-09-28 01:19:28 UTC

find some netting that can take hot brass

2018-09-28 01:19:31 UTC

tape to gun

2018-09-28 01:20:20 UTC

and for depriming just go ahead and get a press

2018-09-28 01:21:38 UTC

how much do you want to load

2018-09-28 01:36:19 UTC

Idk, right now I just want to deprimer all the brass I have so I can clean it, then reprime it

2018-09-28 01:36:30 UTC

From there I might reload or sell idk

2018-09-28 01:36:48 UTC

just rock a hand popper for now

2018-09-28 01:37:06 UTC

buy a single if you want to learn the basics then grab something like an RCBS 7 stage

2018-09-28 01:37:20 UTC

disclaimer I am an RCBS shill through and through

2018-09-28 01:37:28 UTC

I probably have 4-5k worth of their shit

2018-09-28 02:13:15 UTC

Well I assume it works then?

2018-09-28 02:14:36 UTC

3 generations of my family used it

2018-09-28 02:16:10 UTC

I've got 32 SW, 32 SW Long, .223/5.56, 9x19, .38 spcl, 357 mag, and .303 British to deprime

2018-09-28 02:16:21 UTC

And hats just what I remember

2018-09-28 02:16:35 UTC

So yeah a universal deprimer is what I need

2018-09-28 03:04:05 UTC

What's the best hand deprimer out there for the money?

2018-09-28 03:12:17 UTC

a syringe, a hose, hose clamp, and water

2018-09-28 03:28:07 UTC

Hmm

2018-09-28 03:28:11 UTC

That could work

2018-09-28 03:28:21 UTC

But it's frankly more work than buying a hand one

2018-09-28 04:59:16 UTC

Alright serious question, my homeowners policy will only cover up to $2000 for my firearms whether they’re lost, stolen, or fire damage and that doesn’t even cover a quarter of my collection. Does anyone know of a good company that I can get a policy with for just my firearms? I’m mainly worried about theft and fire damage but it would also be nice to have a plan that covers water damage as well.

2018-09-28 05:03:33 UTC

I've seen good things about the Harvey hand deprimer, anyone have experience with that?

2018-09-28 11:50:23 UTC

Just bury them @majorepic

2018-09-28 11:51:34 UTC

Because that’s a good solution

2018-09-28 11:52:58 UTC

It's what /k/ would do

2018-09-28 11:54:03 UTC

I don’t doubt that

2018-09-28 12:59:45 UTC

@majorepic Allstate is the only major insurers that insures firearms as part of a policy

2018-09-28 13:00:13 UTC

There are several other insurers that will do firearms policies. NRA has one associated with them, Collectible Insurance Services is another

2018-09-28 13:00:17 UTC

I went through all this a few years ago

2018-09-28 13:39:33 UTC

All I ask for is one day in which Mr. Rogers can pat me on the back and ask "Will you be my neighbor?"

But, there are some people who probably need physical reminders to breathe trying to take my 30 round magazines away because...well, they know what windows taste like.

All I want to do is have a marijuana grow operation on a fully loaded Montana Class Battleship...just how the founding fathers intended. But I can barely have a suppressed SBR because "WhAt AbOuT tHe ChIlDrEn?"

And because of these sucker fish cleaning my windows all the time, I can only see the dissapointed look on Mr. Roger's face before some progressive puckers their fat punchable lips in the only open spot left.

On the upside, at least I have clean windows.

2018-09-28 13:57:22 UTC

Dafuq

2018-09-28 13:59:34 UTC

So I found out that the reason SBRs are restricted is because in the NFA handguns were gonna be a restricted item, and the feds didn't want people sawing rifles down to handgun length in order to circumvent the law.

2018-09-28 13:59:59 UTC

Lobbying removed the handgun restrictions though.

2018-09-28 14:00:24 UTC

So we're left with bullshit sbr laws

2018-09-28 14:00:33 UTC

Fuck FDR
