Roller locked guns will eat anything. It's a good benefit but good luck reloading the mangled remains of the casings
Only a problem if you want to reload
They're bigboy guns designed for actual combat 99% of the time.
They fire. And the casing yeets into low earth orbit
2nd projectile u see
Like I said, no need to cover you're right when you have a G3, it covers it for you
I think I'd rather no go with flutes on the pistol I'm trying to think up, Tokarev is a bit expensive, I'd rather give the option to reload
On the other hand, ejection flutes will keep your shells ejecting under extreme conditions
On the other hand, it's a non-adjustable gas system
On a third hand, D I R T Y
How much tokarev available in the US right now is steel case? All I've seen is PPU and I'm in sure that's not all that's around
@RoflTank I have two rifles with RAGE comps, they work well. Tuning takes some time tho.
If you get one, be sure to loctite the set screws in the front collar
Oooohhhhh yes, but once you tune it right it's a great comp. Fun fact, it's either modeled after or parallel devolped along the lines of a Rhodesian FAL comp
It was an ingenious bit of engineering design to completely eliminate the recoil of an FAL firing on full auto
Aren’t those both kinda expensive and notoriously unreliable?
are there more roller locked systems
they're cool
No and no
better than the TT and only like 500 or so for pretty good condition if I remember right
I’ve heard they’re finicky from other folks, at least moreso than a tokarev
why is roller delayed used more than roller locked
It was maybe 200 and works like a charm
Oh
Ok
no theyre not
gun jesus told me so
oh wait
You have to buy good ammo for the vz52
Russian surplus will work and older spec works
Modern stuff is lowered pressure and won't cycle reliably
roller locking uses the rollers to actually lock the bolt into place, whereas Roller delayed uses similar rollers to just delay the blowback, but doesnt itself lock the mechanism
yes i know
but
why is delayed use so much more often then locked
Toggle lock coolest mechanism
Flapper lock close second
