Yeah
I can ask him about it
This mans commitment to autism is something we all strive for
No shit, I gotta get him an invite
He'd fit in here like a snake in a sock
Yeeeeeeeeesssssssss, that's the one!
Or close enough
Works like a fucking charm
Has anyone done any tests on the most effective barrel length for Tokarev?
I doubt that they would have
You can probably just math out the propellant burn time and gas dynamics
And then take in to account shear friction between barrel and bullet
It'd basically boil down to a kinematic equation with decreasing thrust over time, minus shear friction
But the shear friction would also go up as... I think the square of speed?
This is math territory I haven't yet familiarized myself with
It's all pretty simple plug-n-play equations
Just have to figure out which ones I need
I guess you could modify a Gurney equation
I mean a bullet *is* metal accelerated by explosives
A less convoluted way to ask is what are the rollers attached to and what are the receiving groves cut into
I think I have one
Let me check
ugh ugly mussel flash on that G3
Grooves are on the slide
Birdcage or go home
The fluting is done to assist with gas cycling, and also ejection. You can run steel all day in a roller-locked gun.
Roller locked guns will eat anything. It's a good benefit but good luck reloading the mangled remains of the casings
Only a problem if you want to reload
They're bigboy guns designed for actual combat 99% of the time.
They fire. And the casing yeets into low earth orbit
2nd projectile u see
Like I said, no need to cover you're right when you have a G3, it covers it for you
I think I'd rather no go with flutes on the pistol I'm trying to think up, Tokarev is a bit expensive, I'd rather give the option to reload
On the other hand, ejection flutes will keep your shells ejecting under extreme conditions
On the other hand, it's a non-adjustable gas system
On a third hand, D I R T Y
How much tokarev available in the US right now is steel case? All I've seen is PPU and I'm in sure that's not all that's around
