I think that's the century made break that they all have
Nah he has a custom muzzlebreak
It's a weird mixture of a German holed can muzzle break from WWII and a Rhodesian FAL compensator
Like this?
No
Oh ok
IIRC he used a "build your own break" kit
There are such things?
It has 3 single hole sections in a specific twist pattern to reduce drift and climb, and then like 3 extra holed can sections
He autistically tuned it
Yeah
I can ask him about it
This mans commitment to autism is something we all strive for
No shit, I gotta get him an invite
He'd fit in here like a snake in a sock
Yeeeeeeeeesssssssss, that's the one!
Or close enough
Works like a fucking charm
Has anyone done any tests on the most effective barrel length for Tokarev?
You can probably just math out the propellant burn time and gas dynamics
And then take in to account shear friction between barrel and bullet
It'd basically boil down to a kinematic equation with decreasing thrust over time, minus shear friction
But the shear friction would also go up as... I think the square of speed?
This is math territory I haven't yet familiarized myself with
It's all pretty simple plug-n-play equations
Just have to figure out which ones I need
I guess you could modify a Gurney equation
I mean a bullet *is* metal accelerated by explosives
Was the CZ 52 using rollers attached to the inside of the slide or the outside of the chamber?
A less convoluted way to ask is what are the rollers attached to and what are the receiving groves cut into
I think I have one
Let me check
ugh ugly mussel flash on that G3
Grooves are on the slide
Birdcage or go home
The fluting is done to assist with gas cycling, and also ejection. You can run steel all day in a roller-locked gun.
Roller locked guns will eat anything. It's a good benefit but good luck reloading the mangled remains of the casings
