We were soldiers is great. The Pacific is alright. I enjoyed Jarhead though some guys don't.

Fury if you watch the original movie without the theater cuts

It is a lot darker.

There have been some others. My issue with films is I just don't remember them

But if I watch the movie again I recall all the scenes.

For a less serious war movie but, one that has it's moments: The Boys in C Company.
