I shoot about 10k a year
the ammo you'd need to shoot to wear out your barrel and extractor outweighs a new barrel
cost wise
buy it cheap and stack it deep
@Bald Eagle Jerk steel case is harder on guns generally. Doesn’t mean it’s enough to break most guns, it’s just more of a statement of fact
It’s because steel does not expand to the chamber like brass does
only thing I will say about the primer sealant is that it gets in the firing pin channel
so clean that out regularly
I have no patience for ammo that dumps my gun full of junk
yeah
I’ll pay a penny more a round to have quality ammo.
I have yet to fully disassemble either my CZ or my Sig
We are talking about pistol ammo
There are some different variables.
But it’s a good article in general
yes
pistol ammo is lower pressure
etc
So it might not be as bad in pistol, then
Would that cause more stove pipes?
as far as that steel case on sale goes, it's 14 cents a round, cheapest brass cased I find is 18cpr
I usually pay around .17cpr for pistol
But close enough
stove pipes in pistols? not unless your gun can't cycle it
I think I paid .20 my last purchase, plus shipping.
I do feel that people are stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime when buying the cheap steel case pistol ammo
Steel is plinking ammo imo
I think my CZ has done it once, and that was just on cheap brass.
The majority of malfunctions are ammo or magazine related
Also picking up my scorpion today 😌
I agree, I wouln't carry it.
I can get 2000rds of steel cased for the cost of brass, which is great if you shoot a lot
Carrying it is a retarded idea
^
I carry the expensive shit
No one is talking about that. Please slap someone if they are
lol
Oh god never carry steel
but do you shoot the expensive shit to cycle it out?
