But with this much dev time with an established company, it’s very disappointing
I don't think the current CEO is serious about fixing the issues
he's been very unprofessional on the bullpup forum trashing reviewers and other rifles
Everyone is serious about fixing issues when asked.
Also, bullpup forums was a shit show when I was there in the past
lol
so is arfcom
i'm there as well
Back when I had a tavor
Bullpup guys are a certain kind of weird. Like Saab drivers.
speaking of which
if they would just do that with their gas piston
and move their gas block forward
easier fix than trying to add mass to the bolt carrier or re design the cam track
I really hope it isn't dead in the water after this
it is ripe for aftermarket support
a new aluminum handguard, new trigger packs
For those who want to know, as far as my MDR goes:
I have a black MDR .308, low 1500s serial number that I've run eight different brands of .308 and 7.62x51 through in the break in period and just installed and tested the new 6-position gas plug today.
All 145-150gr
Three-position gas plug
Hirtenberger - Ripped rim, every shot, Adverse and Normal
Federal XM80CL Whitebox - Would not cycle through the ejection chute, cycled fine without the port cover on
PMC Bronze - Some rim damage
1980s South Korean PMC Surplus M80 - No rim damage
Remington UMC - Some rim damage
Fiocchi - Some rim damage
Sellier & Bellot - Some rim damage
Silver Bear - No damage, flawless function
Six position gas plug
Fiocchi - Cycled with rim damage on position 6 (wide open), cycled on position 3 with rim damage and one torn rim, Position 2 won't cycle out the ejection chute.
Stick your dick in it
So as far as the ejection issue is concerned
Couldn’t they simply mail existing owners improved ejection plates?
Assuming they fix the issue?
they are actually re designing the ejection plates for the 5.56 guns right now
but it wouldn't fix the timing issue
It would be a step, and one in good faith
yep
How does the chute work exactly?
Heya lads.
I've got a question.
It's about shotguns, specifically, if anyone's got a moment.
aye what you need
A writer friend of mine, with zero experience with guns, asked me what kind of shotgun would be best for purely shredding something at close range.
Other than a scattergun, I had no idea what would be best.
what is the setting
Is there any model, preferably double barrel, that would fit it.
and how poor is the shooter?
The 90's
And 'pretty good'
