But with this much dev time with an established company, it’s very disappointing

2019-01-02 04:52:23 UTC

I don't think the current CEO is serious about fixing the issues

2019-01-02 04:52:43 UTC

he's been very unprofessional on the bullpup forum trashing reviewers and other rifles

2019-01-02 04:52:56 UTC

Everyone is serious about fixing issues when asked.

2019-01-02 04:53:13 UTC

Also, bullpup forums was a shit show when I was there in the past

2019-01-02 04:53:24 UTC

lol

2019-01-02 04:53:38 UTC

so is arfcom

2019-01-02 04:53:43 UTC

i'm there as well

2019-01-02 04:53:47 UTC

Back when I had a tavor

2019-01-02 04:54:04 UTC

Bullpup guys are a certain kind of weird. Like Saab drivers.

2019-01-02 04:54:20 UTC

speaking of which

2019-01-02 04:54:33 UTC

if they would just do that with their gas piston

2019-01-02 04:54:46 UTC

and move their gas block forward

2019-01-02 04:55:25 UTC

easier fix than trying to add mass to the bolt carrier or re design the cam track

2019-01-02 04:56:26 UTC

I really hope it isn't dead in the water after this

2019-01-02 04:56:34 UTC

it is ripe for aftermarket support

2019-01-02 04:56:54 UTC

a new aluminum handguard, new trigger packs

2019-01-02 05:01:50 UTC

For those who want to know, as far as my MDR goes:

2019-01-02 05:02:19 UTC

I have a black MDR .308, low 1500s serial number that I've run eight different brands of .308 and 7.62x51 through in the break in period and just installed and tested the new 6-position gas plug today.

All 145-150gr

Three-position gas plug

Hirtenberger - Ripped rim, every shot, Adverse and Normal

Federal XM80CL Whitebox - Would not cycle through the ejection chute, cycled fine without the port cover on

PMC Bronze - Some rim damage

1980s South Korean PMC Surplus M80 - No rim damage

Remington UMC - Some rim damage

Fiocchi - Some rim damage

Sellier & Bellot - Some rim damage

Silver Bear - No damage, flawless function

Six position gas plug

Fiocchi - Cycled with rim damage on position 6 (wide open), cycled on position 3 with rim damage and one torn rim, Position 2 won't cycle out the ejection chute.

2019-01-02 05:03:02 UTC

1980s South Korean PMC Surplus M80 - No rim damage

2019-01-02 05:22:09 UTC

Stick your dick in it

2019-01-02 05:55:21 UTC

So as far as the ejection issue is concerned

2019-01-02 05:55:49 UTC

Couldn’t they simply mail existing owners improved ejection plates?

2019-01-02 05:56:00 UTC

Assuming they fix the issue?

2019-01-02 06:28:15 UTC

they are actually re designing the ejection plates for the 5.56 guns right now

2019-01-02 06:28:36 UTC

but it wouldn't fix the timing issue

2019-01-02 06:29:30 UTC

It would be a step, and one in good faith

2019-01-02 06:43:43 UTC

yep

2019-01-02 16:46:41 UTC

How does the chute work exactly?

2019-01-02 17:27:33 UTC

Heya lads.

2019-01-02 17:27:37 UTC

I've got a question.

2019-01-02 17:27:49 UTC

It's about shotguns, specifically, if anyone's got a moment.

2019-01-02 17:27:58 UTC

aye what you need

2019-01-02 17:28:33 UTC

A writer friend of mine, with zero experience with guns, asked me what kind of shotgun would be best for purely shredding something at close range.

2019-01-02 17:28:43 UTC

Other than a scattergun, I had no idea what would be best.

2019-01-02 17:28:50 UTC

what is the setting

2019-01-02 17:28:57 UTC

Is there any model, preferably double barrel, that would fit it.

2019-01-02 17:28:58 UTC

and how poor is the shooter?

2019-01-02 17:29:01 UTC

The 90's

2019-01-02 17:29:07 UTC

And 'pretty good'
