How the fuck do you spell that garbage?
And tbh outside of ivory tower academia and socialist-breeding high schools, most people are fine with expanded 2A
Seriously, why does every edgy teen end up being a fucking commie?
All those fucking bleeding heart hippy/edgy teen faggots.
Alright boys.
I have a Buck Mayo Cutback, "174" on the blade, that I've carried for fucking years. Grandpa bought it for me, really the only knife I've been able to keep in good condition.
Yesterday the belt clip snapped off. I contacted Buck, and they don't make the knife anymore, and don't have replacement parts for it either. If I send it in they're just going to replace it with some shitty model instead.
I guess my question is, does anyone know where I could get a replacement clip, or another Cutback to take it off of?(DMs are open and feel free to ping me.)
ebay?
That is where I'd start
@[Sky] Samael Show me.
Ah fuck
I was hoping leather holster clip
You meant the fucking frame
Yeeeah.
Either ebay another knife or find a machinist.
Or if you want to be old school, a blacksmith.
I just need another clip, can undo the screws at the top there(those 3 in a line are still holding down the top edge of the clip) and install a new one.
looking on ebay now, can find exactly one that wasn't showing up before and it comes with another random knife, might just jump on that tbh.
dude those clips are easy to find
look at the hole pattern
inline 3
I am gonna be a shill here but upgrade to something with a "wave opening feature" for something that is pretty tough to kill
I mean, if it’s a gift from his grandpa, I can understand wanting to fix it
But yeah, there are plenty of knife maker parts suppliers that sell premade belt clips.
Looks like it should be easy enough to replace
Inline 3 clips aren't hard to find
"wave opening feature"?
That aside, good suggestion on looking into knifemaker suppliers for clips like that. Won't be Buck branded to keep the *~original~* look, but that's really not near as huge a deal as the actual frame/blade/etc. Any recommendations on suppliers to start with?
it's a joke about emerson knives
knifekits
bladehq has a parts bin
*Isn't that the one that opens as you pull it? fuckthat*
good shit, much appreciated.
*they are blyatiful*
I almost want one for a meme.
Because I would without a doubt fuck myself up at one point or another
that is impressively hard to do
*watch me*
