Frick 40
No thx
10mm guys smh
I try to suggest 9 generally, but some people insist on getting a .40 and if thats what they really want then im not arguing with them
I kinda want a 10mm MechTech carbine for the lols
Already have the 9mm for plinking
I'd kinda like a carbine chambered in something ballistically similar to .30 Carbine.
So .300blk
.500 S&W is the superior cartridge
@FireRising 357 Mag or just get a PC9 in .960 Rowland
You mean like this @FireRising ?
If I had 500 to spare Iβd buy a PC9 and a Holosun
the lack of .357 sig carbines makes me <:Angry:483456053808463882>
Dude makes lvl IIIa armor out of fiberglass. 30$
https://youtu.be/_7jiIQOgwtI
He didn't test it to spec
And for the love of god
Fibreglass
Do you want fiberglass, in your body
The NIJ tests armor against a solid backer.
A simple piece of 1/2" plywood will appear to stop 9mm
Doesn't mean if you tape it to your chest it's IIIa
I think I will just pay the $99 for real lvl IV.
Donβt π cheap π out π personal π protective π gear
^
If you're gonna make your own use real fucking kevlar like I do
Donβt π cheap π out π personal π protective π gear
Do you research, buy something quality within your means
VEE SEE PLS
imma go purchase me a ruger mk iv tomorrow feelsgoodman
just gotta get a tax stamp to suppress it
also fibreglass is nice for hardening structures and shit, like lining a section of wall or something
but it does bad things to you if it fragments into your body
I mean, if its fragmenting into your chest, dont you have additonal bigger problems to worry about.
Like bullet wounds?
Or that the BFD needed for serious spalling would entail your chest being caved in
Otherwise the fiberglass "spall" would just get caught in your carrier.
Also I never said it was an amazing idea. Just gets the noggin joggin.
Personal plates are lvl 4 ceramic w/spall liners.
Buuut im in the army now so i just get gov plates and kevlar.
I'd like to see a proper NIJ test battery on that $30 plate.
Someone should. Id watch.
@Demoranch
You'd need 14 plates total for a single threat test
14 more plates for each additional threat
Okay, so NIJ III and IV standards are as follows
