It's going on the front pouch flap, nowhere else though.

I've been working on some for my Krag (cartridge holder like in the picture.)

Basically, the hardest step is making a wooden form that is the dimensions of the magazine

Then the veg tan is formed around it via sewing and wet molding

Also doing a leather holster for my stepfather's revolver too so there's that

I generally use a lighter weight board since I'm waiting on my barn-raising for my shop and powertools

The form is so you can wet mold the leather. It doesn't go around. It goes in.
