a sporter roller locked rifle
when Rasputin's face shows up on your VSKA hammer
The SL7 reminds me of the G43
@Panzerkampf1938 that's because for all intents and purposes, it is.
uh, no?
God that’s a C96 pistol grip
Why
commence shenanigans
@MAC21500 why no?
because one is a short stroke piston, flapper locked rifle and the other is roller delayed blowback
Not that G34 you tard
The German G43 semi-auto rifle
which is short stroke piston flapper locked
The SL7 is just the G43 but, ya know, not broken
I wanna close down on the fact you said pistol. And since there is a G43 pistol it kinda matters
oops, didnt say piston
But yes, different action but same overall purpose and design
missed the L
not really that either
since the SL6/7 was a sporter rifle
not sure it was ever marketed to a military
It's ok, the 5mm space between the l and the n doesn't matter unless it's the ATF asking
But yeah I get that. It's just that HK knows their market, so it's really not that hard to imagine or suspect they did what they did coz they know
@MAC21500 AFAIK the SL7 and SL8 were supposedly marketed to German paramilitary/reserve kinda stuff first, then to civilians
Sorry, SL6
The 8 is just a civilian G36
it is but it isn't
Just the somewhat reverse of the G34 in a sense. Main military first, then paramilitary and civilians second
The SL8 is a civilian sport version of a G36 that is really similar until you get to the bolt IIRC
takedown is different
Well yeah the SL8 isn’t *exactly a G36*
But you get what I meant
Well obviously the takedown is different
yea
