Love the top one.

2019-02-17 16:10:45 UTC

I really do like the FN. had a guy offer 120 day layaway for me since I buy from him a lot. Turned him down because other project but I might take him up on it in the future.

2019-02-17 16:13:12 UTC

it looks good, but the only suppressor that should go on a MK23 is the Knights Armament

2019-02-17 16:13:59 UTC

@tumble my only real grip with the FNX is the mag release

2019-02-17 16:14:52 UTC

have to depress it too deeply for my preference

2019-02-17 16:15:22 UTC

and there is a weird issue with the mags occasionally getting caught on the mag catch when inserting them

2019-02-17 16:21:26 UTC

Hm

2019-02-17 16:22:15 UTC

@Punished Ggnome met with my local knife guy

I’ve really like FN generally.
Any reason I’ve seen a lot of people hate on the 509? Is it really bad?

2019-02-17 16:22:41 UTC

those are pretty dope

2019-02-17 16:22:49 UTC

I havent heard anyone hating on the 509

2019-02-17 16:22:59 UTC

Sage dynamics and Mr gunsngear love theirs

2019-02-17 16:23:13 UTC

MAC had some issues

2019-02-17 16:23:20 UTC

I haven’t heard one thing bad about the 509 personally

2019-02-17 16:23:37 UTC

I just don't like the fact that you have to change the recoil springs to run suppressed

2019-02-17 16:23:39 UTC

But they’re not quite common

2019-02-17 16:23:46 UTC

Really? That’s a breath of fresh air.

2019-02-17 16:23:47 UTC

@MAC21500 that’s not at all uncommon

2019-02-17 16:23:48 UTC

my CZ P09 doesn't have any issues

2019-02-17 16:24:11 UTC

I've heard glocks don't suppress as well

2019-02-17 16:24:15 UTC

but that was news to me

2019-02-17 16:24:26 UTC

Think of it from a physics standpoint

2019-02-17 16:24:44 UTC

You’re adding mass to a moving component waaay out from where it pivots

2019-02-17 16:24:56 UTC

Also, you’re changing the recoil impulse

2019-02-17 16:25:12 UTC

I get that

2019-02-17 16:25:32 UTC

but I haven't seen two recoil springs provided for any other suppressor ready pistols before

2019-02-17 16:25:42 UTC

my FNX has one

2019-02-17 16:25:49 UTC

my CZ has one, so does my glock

2019-02-17 16:26:10 UTC

all factory suppressor ready

2019-02-17 16:26:20 UTC

It means that FN tested it and decided that a second spring was warranted

2019-02-17 16:26:24 UTC

It’s actually a good sign

2019-02-17 16:26:34 UTC

not saying it isn't

2019-02-17 16:26:44 UTC

but I'd be more impressed if it worked without needing one

2019-02-17 16:27:10 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2019-02-17 16:27:15 UTC

You’re not wrong

2019-02-17 16:27:16 UTC

yea

2019-02-17 16:27:20 UTC

i hear ya

2019-02-17 16:27:38 UTC

i suppose if you were to run them suppressed 100% of the time
