That's about the setup I would go for a modern levergat. I would probably keep irons or have a smaller magnification scope. Mainly a light, for brushwork and a bipod for steadying. It'd be ideal for hunting boar, and other nuisances.

@tumble my only real grip with the FNX is the mag release

have to depress it too deeply for my preference

and there is a weird issue with the mags occasionally getting caught on the mag catch when inserting them
