Thinking about keeping something in my tool box at work. Second shift, sometimes dindus and crackheads wander onto the property or even into the shop.
Something cheap?
Well i have two pawnshop buys, feg clone browning and a discount Mak
he better not take our soda
I'd say go with the browning
It won't be terribly small but between it and the Mak it might be the better option
But the options aren't the most incredible to be honest
I'd suggest a canik
But I respect myself
I can't go that low for a joke
I mean it's a tool box gun, it doesn't exactly scream respectable
Only reason i even though of the mak is because of the size
That might be the best thing going for it
Id rather take one of those to put in my toolbox over my HKs
Especially in an area with tweakers
That's the only thing going for a Mak other than novelty in my mind
Don't make a choice on novelty, keep it far away from your mind while choosing defense options

Unless you have a full auto luger
Mak isnt bad if you're looking to do damage. 9x18 just likes to stay inside the target. Not a lot of energy but you can piss out your mag pretty easy.
just no
9x18 is even worse than .380 ACP because the quality defensive loads aren't there
a handful of loads exist
A handful at an expensense
and they don't all work
9Mak isn't good for SD
most .380 hollow points have lackluster performance
And the reason I purchased it is because it was cheap and I wanted one
That's fine, it's just not your best choice
better than no gun
True
A rock is better than nothing though
Browning Hi Power clone it is
Correctomundo
Although I don't know if Hi-powers like Self Defense rounds
they work better than 1911s
but, as with most things
You've sold me
I discovered that my 1911s don't like Hornady Critical Defense
