These are examples but much like a bug with colors or eyes drawn on it’s back it represents them invoking protection... the shield would see arrows and swords

Well that is interesting upside down it could represent the bottoms of star which symbolize lowest point in a chart underworld god maybe issue it also could mean the evil eye as it is the eye of darkness because it points down. But not sure what is the culture and time period
Upside down it is just like a mountain I was confused with the v thing but yes all seeing eye... Eye or Horus is similar as he had powerful eyes of the Gods. So that is why or how it doubles across cultures

If it was in that movie people have to remember it was a time where symbols where a language almost it would be seen as a compliment to relate Jesus to the Highest point in the rotation in the sky. That is why Soinvictis was another religion that almost was made the Rome Empires official religion.
